Job summary

Hireful in County Antrim is seeking a part-time Sales Ledger Assistant to join our finance team on a 12-month maternity cover. The role focuses on raising invoices, processing payments and keeping customer accounts accurate and cash flowing.

You will work 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, onsite, with a competitive pro-rata salary and benefits including 33 days pro rata leave, health plan and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales ledger within a busy finance office.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and a customer-focused, team-oriented approach.
• Background in transport or logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Raising sales invoices through the transport management system and ensuring payments are received on time.
• Managing cash sales, ensuring invoices are raised and payments received before jobs proceed.
• Preparing credit notes as required and keeping records up to date.
• Liaising with customers and operations to resolve queries quickly.
• Providing wider support within the finance team and exposure to various systems.
