Job summary

Hireful Ltd is recruiting a part-time Sales Ledger Assistant to join its finance team on a 12-month maternity cover. The role focuses on raising sales invoices, processing payments and keeping customer accounts accurate to maintain cash flow. Based onsite in County Antrim, you’ll work 27.5 hours across Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate will have Sales Ledger experience, strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A background in transport or logistics is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Sales Ledger experience in a busy finance office with Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail when entering and extracting data.
• Clear, confident communication and a customer-focused, team-minded approach.
• Background in transport or logistics would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Raising sales invoices through the transport management system and ensuring payments are received on time.
• Managing cash sales, ensuring invoices are raised and payments received before jobs go ahead.
• Preparing credit notes as required and keeping records accurate and up to date.
• Liaising with customers and operations to resolve queries quickly.
• Providing wider support across the finance team and exposure to various systems.
