Backer Heatrod Limited is recruiting an HR Manager to deliver a professional HR service across the business from our Farnworth site. The role focuses on operations, employee relations, recruitment and development, while ensuring compliance with UK laws and company policies.

You will support multiple sites within the group, coach managers, manage HR data, and drive change initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a part-time, on-site role with 24–26 hours per week.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification (minimum).
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel between sites (occasional).

Responsibilities

• HR Operations: Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR, best practice and company policies.
• Employee Relations: Coach & support managers on people management matters and conduct investigations when required.
• Recruitment and Resourcing: Manage recruitment activities across sites and oversee onboarding.
• Learning and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development initiatives.
• Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Drive engagement initiatives and support wellbeing programmes.
• HR Compliance: Monitor HR metrics and maintain accurate records and systems.
• Change Management: Support organisational change projects and communications.
