Job summary

Rydal Group is seeking a People Advisor to deliver professional HR support across the business in the UK and South Africa. You will advise on employee relations, support people processes, and help ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

This part-time role offers flexible hours ( Thursdays and Fridays ) with a company laptop, 23 days of annual leave rising to 28, plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a HR Advisor or equivalent HR generalist role.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience of advising and coaching managers on people matters.
• Experience of managing employee relations cases.
• Experience of supporting colleagues in UK and South Africa is desirable; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees in the UK and South Africa.
• Support managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance cases.
• Attend formal meetings as HR representative, guiding process and employment law.
• Assist investigations and prepare investigation reports as required.
• Support the resolution of employee issues in a fair and timely manner.
