Job summary

Sierra 57 Consult Ltd is seeking a Part-Time HR Advisor to join our UK team. You will provide day-to-day HR support, employee relations guidance and HR administration, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and supporting workforce development.

You will act as the main point of contact for UK HR matters, supporting around 25 employees and liaising with the Head Office as needed. The role is primarily based at the UK HQ with some flexible home working.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor, HR Officer or HR Generalist.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Experience handling absence management, disciplinary procedures and grievances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidential employee records using HR systems.
• Review and update HR policies and employee handbook to ensure UK compliance.
• Provide day-to-day HR advice to managers and staff across the employee lifecycle.
• Advise on absence management, including return-to-work and long-term absence cases.
• Support employee relations matters and performance-related issues.
• Coordinate performance management and annual appraisals.
• Manage onboarding, changes, promotions and transfers.
• Conduct pre-employment checks and right-to-work verifications.
• Coordinate recruitment including apprenticeship needs and onboarding.
• Monitor trainings and maintain qualifications/certifications.
