Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd. is seeking a dedicated housekeeping assistant at Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park to maintain clean, well‑kept holiday homes and communal areas. You’ll assist with laundry duties and ensure high standards of tidiness for guests, working in a friendly, team‑oriented environment.

This seasonal, part‑time role offers £12.71 per hour, 12 hours per week, and days Monday and Friday. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential; attention to detail and physical

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently within the designated working hours.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and laundry duties.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning and laundry practices.
• Willingness to work on the specified days (Monday and Friday) and adapt to varying tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain holiday homes and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring that all areas are spotless and well-organised.
• Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, and ironing of linen and towels to ensure they are clean and ready for guest use.
• Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
• Keep track of cleaning and laundry supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and cleaning staff to prioritise tasks and ensure that all duties are completed efficiently and on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping in a professional and courteous manner.
