Job summary

Park Holidays UK Ltd. in Christchurch is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to maintain clean holiday homes and communal areas, including basic laundry duties, for a seasonal, part-time role.

In this role you will work with a supportive team to deliver high cleanliness standards, manage simple laundry tasks, and ensure areas are well-organised and guest-ready at all times. You’ll be paid £12.71 per hour, with 8 hours per week on Monday and Friday, and you’ll be part of a leading

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with high cleanliness standards.
• Good time management to complete tasks within shifts.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to perform cleaning and laundry tasks.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain holiday homes and communal areas to a high standard.
• Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, and ironing of linen and towels.
• Use and store cleaning products safely following health and safety guidelines.
• Keep track of cleaning and laundry supplies and report shortages or issues to management.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to prioritise tasks and complete duties on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a professional and courteous manner.

Overview

Join our dedicated housekeeping team at Park Holidays UK, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help create unforgettable guest experiences every day. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of holiday homes and communal areas, as well as assisting with laundry duties.

Job Duties

• Clean and maintain holiday homes and communal areas to a high standard, ensuring that all areas are spotless and well-organised.
• Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, and ironing of linen and towels to ensure they are clean and ready for guest use.
• Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
• Keep track of cleaning and laundry supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and cleaning staff to prioritise tasks and ensure that all duties are completed efficiently and on time.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently within the designated working hours.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning and laundry duties.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning and laundry practices.
• Willingness to work on the specified days (Monday and Friday) and adapt to varying tasks as needed.
