Job summary

Glen Park Primary School in Plymouth is seeking an experienced 0.2 HLTA to work across classes, supporting young children’s learning and development and assisting with PPA release.

The successful candidate will be a team player, able to use initiative in the classroom, and help deliver intervention programmes for individuals and small groups while promoting positive behaviour and learning. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• HLTA or equivalent, with ability to meet HLTA standards.
• Commitment to supporting learning and development in young children.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and follow guidance.

Responsibilities

• Support PPA release and deliver intervention programmes for individuals and small groups.
• Promote high standards of behaviour and learning across classes.
• Demonstrate understanding of SEND needs and build strong relationships with children and families.
