Job summary

NHS Property Services is seeking a Domestic Assistant to join the Delivery Frontline team at Cleveland Health Centre in Tees Valley. The role centres on maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming healthcare environment while following infection prevention, Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.

Shifts are part-time (12.5 hours per week), with early morning or evening slots, Monday to Friday, and a standard DBS check is required to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic services.
• Experience in hospitality, facilities services, care or healthcare environments, or customer-facing roles.
• Able to follow procedures and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard.
• Support infection prevention and control measures.
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the site.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service.
• Follow NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules.
