Job summary

NHS Property Services is seeking a Domestic Assistant at Hinckley Health Centre to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. The role involves weekend early shifts (6am–8am) with enhancements, plus occasional lone working and keyholder responsibilities.

You will follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures, completing routine tasks to a high standard and contributing to infection control efforts. DBS check is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Care or healthcare environment experience recommended.
• DBS check required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard.
• Support infection prevention and control measures.
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the site.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service.
• Hold keyholder responsibility and work alone at times.
