Job summary

This Domestic Assistant post sits in the Delivery Frontline team at NHS Property Services, based at Louth County Hospital. The role keeps healthcare areas clean, safe and welcoming, following infection prevention and control and COSHH procedures.

It is a 16-hour-a-week post with early starts from 6am to 10am Monday to Friday and weekend work as required. Candidates need a Standard DBS check and experience in cleaning, housekeeping, facilities or care settings.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic services
• Experience in hospitality or facilities services
• Experience in care or healthcare environments
• Customer-facing experience where high standards matter

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard
• Support infection prevention and control measures
• Follow Health & Safety and COSHH procedures
• Complete routine cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the site
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
• Work to NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules
