Job summary

Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Southampton. You will deliver groceries using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, following planned routes and keeping customers updated. The role is part‑time (20 hours per week) with a fixed‑term assignment at the Southampton Portswood location.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and have the right to work in the UK. AI camera monitoring may be used during employment.

Qualifications

• You must be 18+ and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• You may be required to use in‑cab AI cameras for monitoring.
• Customer-focused delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers on time and in good condition.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and perform basic checks.
• Follow planned routes and communicate delays or issues to customers.
• Move shopping containers up to 15 kg and assist across the store when needed.
