Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd in Dunstable is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers’ doors with a friendly, reliable service. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, carry out checks to keep the vehicle roadworthy, and ensure orders arrive on time and in good condition.

This part‑time, permanent role offers 22.5 hours per week at £14.73 per hour, with an availability window and flexible working.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 years old and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• You will be assessed online driving risk as part of the interview and may have a driving assessment if successful.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to with a friendly, helpful service.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition.
• Complete checks to keep the van roadworthy, clean and organised, and secure customer shopping.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varied locations and weather conditions.
• Move containers up to 15kg and handle deliveries to different properties.
• Communicate with customers, update them on delays and assist with order changes.
