Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to deliver groceries in a 3.5 tonne van, ensuring on-time arrival and careful handling for customers across diverse locations.

You'll maintain van cleanliness and roadworthiness, assist customers with questions or substitutions, and learn product knowledge to provide recommendations. When not delivering, you will support store duties and team efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+
• UK/EU driving licence held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Online driving risk assessment will be part of the interview and a driving assessment on join

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries using a 3.5 tonne van to customers on time and in good condition
• Carry out checks to keep van organised, clean, roadworthy and secure delivery cases
• Assist customers with questions and substitutions and communicate any delays
• Build product knowledge to offer recommendations
• Help in-store when not on delivery rounds
