Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to join our delivery team in Stevenage, delivering groceries directly to customers' homes using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van. You will ensure on-time delivery and maintaining vehicle standards, while keeping customers informed.

We look for friendly, safety-conscious drivers who can work 3–5 days per week, including weekends, with a supportive benefits package and an inclusive workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months
• Maximum 6 penalty points on driving licence
• Right to Work in the UK
• Online driving risk assessment as part of interview

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps in a timely and careful manner
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and ensure it is roadworthy and clean
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varied conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and assist customers with their orders
• Communicate delays or changes to customers and handle queries
• Support store team when not delivering
