Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Lecturer in Engineering to join the Apprenticeships team at Slough & Langley College on Fridays. The role is a temporary, 0.2 FTE position with actual pay from £6,326.60 to £9,068.20, and full-time equivalent salaries ranging £31,633 to £45,341.

You will deliver City & Guilds 4515 and Level 3 Engineering apprenticeships, plan engaging lessons, supervise workshop safety, and support learners toward EPA readiness, Gateway, and professional development.

Qualifications

• HNC in Manufacturing Engineering (Level 4/5) or higher is essential.
• Experience delivering engineering apprenticeship or further education programmes.
• GCSEs in English, Maths and Science at Grade C/4 or above required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons for first-year apprentices.
• Teach units such as Health and Safety, Maths, and Engineering Principles within the 4515/Level 3 frameworks.
• Promote high standards of health and safety in workshops and supervise workshop equipment.
