Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an Industry Placement Adviser (part-time) on a fixed-term contract through 31 July 2027. The role is based mainly at the Slough and Langley College campuses, 30 hours per week across 40 weeks per year.

The post offers a pro rata salary between £19,863.83 (H19) and £21,831.72 (H22), with full-time equivalents ranging from £27,284 to £29,987. Driving licence required for college vehicle use.

Qualifications

• Experience in practical trades, site management or subcontracting.
• Ability to mentor young people and guide them into careers.
• Willingness to visit employers and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate industry placements that meet course standards.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers and visit sites regularly.
• Support students in preparing for careers and securing on-site placements.
• Ensure availability and use of college vehicles with a full manual driving licence.
