Job summary
Windsor Forest Colleges Group seeks a Learning Support Assistant to join our Apprenticeships Team at Slough & Langley College campuses, with occasional travel to Berkshire College of Agriculture. This permanent, full-time role (37 hours weekly) sits on the G scale (£25,483–£27,284) depending on qualifications and experience.
You will support apprentices across programmes to access the curriculum, develop essential English, maths and ICT skills, and work with tutors, assessors and employers to
Qualifications
- Experience or qualifications in supporting individuals with learning difficulties or neurodiversities (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia)
- Level 2 English and Mathematics qualifications
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality and data protection
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored learning support to apprentices to access curriculum and develop key skills
- Support one-to-one or small-group sessions depending on needs
- Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of English, mathematics and ICT skills
- Implement structured strategies for SEND EHCPs in line with individual plans
- Collaborate with apprentices, tutors, assessors and employers to support outcomes
