Mount Charles is seeking a Food Service Assistant for Friends School Lisburn. The role involves working in a team to provide friendly customer service, assist with food prep and presentation to high standards.

You will ensure HACCP compliance and maintain a clean service area, supporting deliveries checks and till operation as needed. The ideal candidate has prior food handling experience, excellent personal hygiene, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient and friendly service to customers as part of a team.
• Assist with food preparation and presentation to high standards.
• Comply with HACCP regulations and health, safety & hygiene standards.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic environment and well-supplied service area.
• Check deliveries and food temperatures; operate the till as required.
• Report any equipment or safety issues to the Line Manager.
• Communicate effectively at all levels within the team.
