Job summary

The CFO HQ in Leeds is seeking a part-time Finance Manager to join our in-house finance team. The role supports the Managing Director, with responsibility across core accounting, management reporting, and cash flow in a UK SME.

The position is office-based in Leeds, 16 hours per week, split over 3–4 days. You will lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while managing multi-currency transactions and VAT compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience across all areas of finance.
• Ability to hit the ground running and manage own time.
• Experience leading financial activity in an SME.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management accounts and statutory reports.
• Manage credit and cash controls.
• Oversee cash flow planning and forecasting.
• Lead sales and purchase ledger activities.
• Handle multi-currency including FX where applicable.
• Coordinate VAT returns and financial analysis.
