The CFO HQ in Leeds is seeking a part-time Finance Manager to join our in-house finance team. The role supports the Managing Director, with responsibility across core accounting, management reporting, and cash flow in a UK SME.

The position is office-based in Leeds, 16 hours per week, split over 3–4 days. You will lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while managing multi-currency transactions and VAT compliance.

Operating with one other in finance who manages Purchase Ledger and cash postings, this Finance Manager position is a varied role and one which requires strong time management skills.Focused on the UK business, this position is new to the business, providing support across all areas of finance, you will add value to the Managing Director and management, enabling day to day financial transactions, month and year end accounting and further financial activity.As Finance Manager you will also manage foreign currency and intercompany transactions and will take the lead on financial analysis and budgeting/forecasting.Main role duties:· Credit and cash management ensuring controls are in place.· Preparation of both monthly management accounts and statutory/year-end reporting.· Attending management meetings to discuss financial position and account position to management· Cash flow management.· Lead on Sales and Purchase ledger management.· Managing multi-currency including foreign exchange.· Preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecast.· Preparing and submitting VAT returns.· Financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.· Improving process and procedure on a continual basisExperience & Qualifications Required to Apply:To be considered you shall be an experienced Finance professional with previous expose across all areas of the job description.
