Job summary

Kenton Black Limited on the outskirts of Leeds is seeking a part-time Finance Manager to join the in-house finance team. The role is 16 hours per week, to be split over 3 or 4 days, with a pro rata salary of 38–42k.

You will report to the Managing Director, work with one other finance colleague, and support across all areas of finance including monthly and year-end accounting, cashflow, budgets and forecasting in a dynamic, global business.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing finance across all areas of a small/medium business.
• Strong communication skills and ability to hit the ground running.
• Proven track record of handling bookkeeping, management accounts and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial activities for SME
• Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end reporting
• Manage multi-currency and intercompany transactions
• Oversee cashflow, VAT returns and budgeting/forecasting
• Support MD and senior management with financial analysis and ad hoc reporting
• Improve processes and procedures continually
