Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd in Horsham is seeking an EYFS Teacher for a part-time, long-term role starting January 2027, for two terms. The position is Monday mornings, Tuesday and Wednesday all day, with Wednesday PM allocated to PPA and after-school staff meeting attendance.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent qualification, has EYFS/Reception experience, and can deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning while tracking progress and supporting families. Commitment through July 2027 is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching within EYFS or Reception is required.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and development milestones is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning experiences in line with EYFS.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress to support individual learning journeys.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Attend Wednesday after-school staff meetings.
• Support parents' evenings in the spring term and write end-of-year reports for part of the class in the summer term.
