Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher for a part-time role in Oldbury, spanning Nursery and Reception classes from October to the end of the academic year. You will deliver engaging early years lessons, collaborating with Teaching Assistants and EYFS staff to support children’s learning and development.

The role requires QTS and EYFS experience, with a patient, confident approach to support young learners across the EYFS curriculum.

Qualifications

• Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be experienced in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Experience teaching in Nursery and/or Reception classes is essential.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to stay calm and consistent.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a school setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, with DBS check on update service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, creative and age-appropriate learning across Nursery and Reception.
• Support children across all EYFS areas of learning and development.
• Adapt curriculum and resources to meet individual needs and stages.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and Early Years staff to support learners.
• Build positive relationships and create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Monitor and assess children's progress and adjust teaching accordingly.
• Promote independence and active engagement in learning.
