Job summary

School Space is seeking a part-time Community Connector to help turn school spaces into hub-friendly community venues in Oxford. You will open and close schools during evenings and weekends, ensure high-quality customer service, and support setup and breakdown of event spaces.

You’ll work with others or alone on site, with training, safeguarding checks, and a strong commitment to community impact. The role includes flexible shifts and a focus on making school spaces welcoming for local groups.

• This role may involve working on site alone or with other Community Connectors.

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing assigned schools during evenings and weekends, acting as key holder.
• Provide great customer service and communicate events to the operations team.
• Carry out checks and some cleaning/tidying after bookings.
• Set up and clear away tables and chairs for events and exams.
