Job summary

School Space is seeking a part-time Community Connector to help run bookings at The Compton School in London. You will be on-site during evenings and weekends, opening and closing the school, providing excellent customer service, and coordinating with the operations team to ensure smooth events.

You will manage setup/teardown, perform checks, and assist with light cleaning. A DBS check is required, and there is strong support from a line manager and On Call team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment.
• Flexible, organised, and timely approach to work.
• Ability to provide feedback from the ground to improve bookings.
• Confidence and good communication for working alone or with others.

Responsibilities

• Open and close assigned local school during evenings/weekends, acting as key holder.
• Provide great customer service and relay updates to the operations team.
• Carry out checks and some cleaning/tidying after bookings.
• Set up and clear away tables and chairs and adjust layouts for events (training provided).
