Job summary

Portfolio HR & Reward is seeking an Employee Relations Assistant in Exeter on a part-time, 16-hour week. The role is temporary until 30 September 2027 and offers hybrid working with an hourly rate of £14.10 plus holiday pay.

The successful candidate will provide ER support, update ER procedures, and advise managers on policy matters, working across Weds-Fri and supporting projects from conception to implementation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting employee relations and updating managers.
• Ability to communicate effectively to senior leaders.
• Experience with ER policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing a range of employment support for the HR remit, including creating/updating ER procedures, updating ER Intranet information.
• Providing high quality advice, support and guidance to managers and supervisors in respect of issues linked to ER policy and procedure.
• Assist the Senior ER Officer with delivering projects from conception to implementation.
