Job summary

New Collaborative Learning Trust publishes an exciting part-time opportunity at Thorpe Hesley Primary School for an Early Years Teaching Assistant. You will support a two-year-old provision under the EYFS Leads, helping deliver a play-based curriculum in a warm, nurturing setting.

The ideal candidate has EYFS experience, strong communication, teamwork, and a clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare. This role is 26 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, term-time plus inset days.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years settings and strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering a high-quality, play-based EYFS curriculum for our two-year-old provision.
• Support the Room Lead and EYFS Lead in creating a safe, stimulating environment for young children.
• Contribute to promoting welfare and safeguarding across the setting.
