Job summary

Thorpe Hesley Primary School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our two-year-old provision. You will support the Room Lead and EYFS Lead in delivering a high-quality, play-based curriculum that meets the needs of our youngest learners.

The ideal candidate will have experience in early years settings, a warm nurturing approach, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support the Room Lead and EYFS Lead in delivering a high-quality, play-based curriculum.
• Create a safe, stimulating environment for children to thrive emotionally, socially and academically.
• Support individual needs and adapt activities to suit development of two-year-olds.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safeguarding policies are followed.
