New Collaborative Learning Trust publishes an exciting part-time opportunity at Thorpe Hesley Primary School for an Early Years Teaching Assistant. You will support a two-year-old provision under the EYFS Leads, helping deliver a play-based curriculum in a warm, nurturing setting.

The ideal candidate has EYFS experience, strong communication, teamwork, and a clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare. This role is 26 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, term-time plus inset days.

Salary: Salary Band C Point 4 of the Support Staff Spine, pro rata (£25,185 FTE)

Contract Type: Part time – 26 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 3.30pm Term Time only 38 weeks per year + 2 Inset Days

Contract Term: Temporary until 31st August 2027

Working under the guidance of the Room Lead and EYFS Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality, play-based curriculum that supports the individual needs of our youngest learners. You’ll help create a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially and academically.
