Job summary

Teaching Personnel are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Thornton to recruit an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant for a long-term position. You will work with the class teacher to support learning, development, and wellbeing within the EYFS setting.

The role offers ongoing consultant support, weekly PAYE pay, and CPD opportunities. All applicants need relevant qualifications and a valid enhanced DBS check; safeguarding training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young children in EYFS or similar settings.
• Passion for Early Years education and play-based learning.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Relevant Level 2/3 or CACHE/NVQ qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and development under the class teacher.
• Assist with play-based activities and routines.
• Promote children's wellbeing and social interactions.
• Contribute to a nurturing EYFS environment.
