Job summary

Heathfield Primary School in Bolton is seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our First Steps Two Year Old provision. The role focuses on Early Years learning, child development, and positive, inclusive practice within a proactive, collaborative team.

The post offers 22 hours per week during term time plus five days, with potential to increase hours as the First Steps provision grows. Successful candidates will meet EYFS criteria and be prepared for Paediatric First Aid

Qualifications

• Approved Early Years Level 2 qualification (DfE criteria)
• Minimum Level 2 English and Maths
• Paediatric First Aid training or willingness to obtain it

Responsibilities

• Support children in the First Steps Two Year Old provision
• Help create a safe, engaging learning environment
• Foster high standards of behaviour and learning through effective communication
