Job summary

Sainsbury's Cheltenham store is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver. This part-time role covers 20 hours per week with a permanent contract, paying £14.73 per hour. You will deliver groceries to customers' homes using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and help with store duties when not delivering.

You must be over 18, hold a UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with up to 6 points, and have the right to work in the UK. Availability includes several weekdays.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• Ability to lift up to 15kg and deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury's at each doorstep and deliver a thoughtful, friendly service.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition.
• Check van roadworthiness and ensure goods are secure before departure.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varied locations and conditions.
• Communicate with customers and handle any delivery changes or delays.
