Sainsbury’s Weedon Road Store in Northampton is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver on a part-time basis. You will deliver groceries in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, maintain vehicle safety, and provide a friendly doorstep experience. Requires a full UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for 12+ months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work in the UK
• Willingness to complete online driving risk assessment and in-branch driving assessment

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to, delivering friendly and helpful service
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition
• Carry out checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean and stocked
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in various locations and conditions
• Move containers up to 15kg and deliver to a range of properties
• Communicate effectively with customers, advising on delays and handling queries
