Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver for the Cheltenham area. You’ll deliver groceries in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, ensuring on-time deliveries and keeping customers informed with a warm, helpful service. The role is part-time (20 hours per week) with flexible shifts and a permanent contract.

Applicants must be 18+, hold a full UK driving licence for 12+ months with <=6 points and have Right to Work in the UK. In-cab AI safety features will be used. Training is provided to support safe driving and great customer experiences.

Qualifications

• You must be over 18 and hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
• Right to Work in the UK is required.
• Ability to deliver groceries safely and professionally to customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps in a timely, friendly manner.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and check vehicle roadworthiness.
• Follow planned routes and communicate delays or issues to customers.
• Assist with store duties as needed when not delivering.
• Ensure shopping is secure and handled with care during delivery.
