Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking Customer Team Members for its Alva store. You will join a friendly team in a fast-moving store, delivering essential services to the local community.

The role may involve working in the post office, bakery, or supporting online services by packing orders for home delivery. Full, paid training is provided; you must be 18+ and able to work across a mix of opening, middle, and closing shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on the shop floor and tills; assist in in-store bakery and online order picking/packing.
• Help maintain store performance by stocking shelves and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with prices, dates and temperatures.
