Newcastle Building Society in Chester is seeking a part-time Customer Adviser to provide face-to-face financial guidance, greet customers, listen to their needs, and assist with everyday banking tasks such as account openings and transaction processing.

You will work 24 hours weekly over 3.5 days (Mon, Fri and Sat half-day) with a tailored 12-week training plan, and join a supportive team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Being great with people and building relationships with customers is key.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to empathise are important.
• A natural team player who works well with branch colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand financial needs and goals.
• Open accounts and process transactions at the counter.
• Open savings accounts and handle cashing up at end of day.
• Set up tills and book customer appointments.
