Marstep Resourcing Solutions is seeking a Credit Controller on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) in Milton Keynes. The role focuses on day-to-day sales ledger and credit control, ensuring accurate recording of receipts and active debt collection.

You will chase overdue payments, manage aged debtors, and support credit checks, with regular liaison with customers and internal teams. The position is based in Finance and reports to the Financial Controller, with flexible hours discussed.

Formación

• Experience in Credit Control, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable.
• Experience chasing overdue payments by phone and email.
• Experience allocating receipts and maintaining customer accounts.
• Strong understanding of aged debtors, payment terms and credit control processes.
• Good Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload independently.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively chase customers for payment of invoices.
• Manage aged debtor ledger and prioritise overdue accounts.
• Support new customer credit checks and setting or review of credit limits.
• Run aged debtor reports and take required actions.
• Escalate significantly overdue accounts to the Financial Controller.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service and other areas to resolve queries.
• Provide cover for the Finance team during holidays and busy periods.
• Support month-end reporting relating to debtors and cash receipts.
