Job summary

A Devon-based health and safety consultancy is seeking a Construction Health & Safety Manager or Site Manager with a strong H&S background for a part-time consultancy role. You will conduct site audits and inspections across multiple sites, travel as required, and manage reports and corrective actions.

The role suits someone with NEBOSH General Certificate and additional H&S qualifications, comfortable working independently and traveling to Bristol, Hull, and Nottingham.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate is essential.
• Experience as a Construction Health & Safety Manager or Site Manager with a strong H&S focus.
• Willingness to travel to Bristol, Hull and Nottingham; full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out site health and safety audits and inspections across sites in Bristol, Hull, and Nottingham.
• Identifying non-compliance, hazards, and areas for improvement, and providing clear feedback to site teams.
• Producing audit reports and tracking corrective actions.
• Advising site management on health and safety best practice and regulatory compliance.
• Building strong working relationships with site teams and client contacts.
• Staying up to date with current health and safety legislation and industry best practice.
