Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is partnered with an established consultancy to recruit a Health and Safety Consultant. The role is home based with travel to client sites across the Midlands and South, including occasional overnight stays, offering exposure to varied industries from manufacturing to healthcare.

You will carry out audits, maintain client relationships, support investigations, and deliver training both virtually and on site.

Qualifications

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent required.
IOSH Tech IOSH membership or willingness to work towards this.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build client relationships.
Good organisational skills and ability to work independently.
Full UK driving licence with ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

Carry out health and safety audits and inspections on client sites and produce reports explaining findings and recommended actions.
Maintain strong relationships with clients to become a trusted extension of their team.
Support clients following incidents and near misses, including investigations and guidance on corrective actions.
Deliver training both virtually and on site with clients.
