Job summary

WSR is recruiting a Part Time Business Development Manager for our client in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. The role offers 3 flexible days per week with a pro rata salary of £50,000 plus 10% commission on new business and mileage coverage.

You will drive growth in education, commercial refurbishment and retail fit-out sectors, building strategic relationships with architects, project managers and consultants while maintaining a robust CRM and pipeline.

Qualifications

Proven sales experience within construction, refurbishment, property or related industry.
Track record of generating leads and converting opportunities into projects.
Excellent commercial awareness and client-facing skills.
Confident communication and presentations on complex topics.
Able to work independently and proactively.
Valid UK driving license.
Highly organised with strong time management.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver a business development strategy to support growth.
Identify and secure opportunities across education, commercial refurbishment, and retail fit-out.
Build relationships with architects, surveyors, project managers and consultants.
Research upcoming projects and tender opportunities.
Monitor tender portals and framework agreements.
Attend networking events and client meetings.
Support bid submissions with statements, presentations and materials.
Collaborate with estimating and operations for smooth handover from enquiry to delivery.
Maintain CRM and sales pipeline; produce regular forecast reports.
Act as a professional ambassador and build long-term client relationships.
