Beechfield House is seeking a Part-Time Commis Chef to join our kitchen team in Wiltshire. The role offers flexible shifts, training, and a supportive environment in a beautiful country house hotel.

You will work under the Head Chef, contribute to breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, and develop culinary skills while delivering high-standard dishes. Previous kitchen experience is desirable but not essential; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef with daily food preparation and cooking.
• Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes and hotel standards.
• Support the kitchen team during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events.
• Ensure dishes are consistently prepared and presented to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP procedures.
• Assist with stock rotation, deliveries, and storage.
