Job summary

University of Exeter Medical School is recruiting a permanent, part-time Clinical Skills Tutor (Education & Scholarship) based at the Clinical Skills Resource Centre, Heavitree, Exeter.

The role delivers clinical skills, communication, and simulation to BMBS year 4–5 students, with sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays, starting October 2026. The post includes teaching, outreach, and ongoing professional development, with potential HEA Fellowship and CPD participation.

Qualifications

• Registration with GMC/NMC or equivalent
• Excellent teaching identified by peer review
• Experience with outreach or student recruitment

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical skills sessions to BMBS year 4 and 5
• Deliver predesigned sessions to medical students
• Support outreach and external networks
