Job summary

The University of Surrey is seeking a Lecturer in Medical Education to join the new Medical School on a 0.5 FTE basis. You will deliver high-quality teaching across the undergraduate curriculum, including biomedical science, physiology and general medicine, support OSCEs and assessments, and contribute to admissions and standard-setting.

Applicants must hold GMC registration, a higher professional qualification (doctoral degree or equivalent), and may have or be eligible for Fellowships from HEA

Qualifications

• Must have GMC registration and a higher professional qualification (doctorate or equivalent).
• Experience delivering medical education and assessments (OSCEs, knowledge tests).
• Engagement with admissions, quality assurance and course accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate curriculum: biomedical science, physiology and general medicine.
• Support small and large group teaching, including case-based learning and clinical skills sessions.
• Contribute to admissions, standard setting, tests and OSCE examinations.
