Job summary

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support medicines optimisation across the full patient journey in a busy hospital setting. The role offers clinical responsibility, multidisciplinary collaboration and real impact on patient care, with part-time hours.

You are a registered Pharmacist with the GPhC, with hospital experience and either a clinical diploma or equivalent. An independent prescriber or secondary care background is desirable, and the role is tailored

Qualifications

• You are a registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
• Hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• A clinical diploma or equivalent experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support medicines optimisation through medication review, reconciliation and prescription review.
• Provide expert medicines advice to patients, carers, consultants and staff.
• Assist with safe procurement, management and control of medication stock.
• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, incident reporting and introduction of new medicines and therapies.

Education

GPhC registration as Pharmacist

Clinical Diploma or equivalent

Independent prescriber (preferred)
