Job summary

UPP (Exeter) Limited is recruiting a Cleaner for a permanent part-time position (25 hours/week, 9am–2pm, Mon–Fri) at our student accommodation in Exeter. The role covers cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens, with duties including vacuuming, washing and emptying bins, plus seasonal tasks.

You will need experience in a similar environment, good English and the ability to follow Health & Safety guidance. Role may require working at other sites with notice.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in cleaning in a similar environment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret Health & Safety guidance.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas in student accommodation (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens).
• Vacuum, spot-clean and shampoo carpets; sweep and polish floors; clean walls, doors and furniture.
• Empty waste bins and manage rubbish; prepare flats for arrivals and departures.
• Liaise with residents and Residence Managers; follow health & safety policies at all times.
