Job summary

Vita Student is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant for our Exeter site. The role is part-time with a minimum commitment of 14 hours per week, working Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 6pm.

The hourly rate is £13.45, with overtime opportunities and generous benefits. You will deliver a luxury, home-from-home cleaning service for students’ studios while maintaining premium facilities to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced housekeeping professional in large multi-room residences such as student accommodation, hotels or hospitals.
• Technologically adept with facility systems and software.
• Good understanding of COSHH regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean studios to a high standard, including dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Anti-bacterial cleaning of surfaces and making beds.
• Record each studio clean using a mobile device; photo evidence per clean.
• Maintain waste areas and ensure health & safety compliance.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering cleaning supplies.
• Be a point of contact for issues or incidents on site.
• Follow COSHH regulations to protect health and safety.
