Job summary

B&Q Guildford is hiring a part-time Customer Advisor for Checkouts. The role is 18.75 hours per week on a 3-month fixed term contract, with shifts Monday to Sunday, 7.00am to 10.00pm.

You will become an expert advisor, handling tills, click and collect, and setting up displays while keeping the store looking inviting. The team values friendly, helpful people who enjoy learning and thrive on delivering great customer service.

Qualifications

• Happy to help, eager to learn and just a little bit obsessed with home improvement.
• You're friendly and outgoing, and you get a buzz from helping others.
• Flexible to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Willing to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Sales will be important, as will click & collect, setting up displays, and making sure your store looks great.
• You'll be trained in various areas, but on the tills truly great customer service will be your main aim.
