Job summary

B&Q Havant is hiring a Customer Advisor on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) with a permanent contract. Shifts run across Monday to Sunday, 7.00am–8.00pm, at an hourly rate of £13.10. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, stock checks, and helping customers with home improvement needs.

You’ll receive training in paint-mixing and timber cutting, with opportunities to grow within a supportive retail environment and develop product knowledge across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn store processes and product ranges.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and drive sales through helpful, knowledgeable service.
• Manage stock and help set up displays to keep the store looking inviting.
• Support store operations including stock management and visual merchandising.
• Learn paint-mixing and timber cutting to expand product knowledge.
