Job summary

B&Q Limited is hiring a Checkouts Customer Advisor in Workington for a part-time, permanent role of 25 hours per week. Shifts cover 8.00am to 8.00pm, Monday through Sunday, with a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.

You’ll be an friendly expert on the till, helping customers with sales, click & collect, setting up displays and ensuring the store looks its best. Training in various areas is provided, with a strong focus on delivering great customer service.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing, eager to help others.
• Willing to learn and comfortable using new technology.
• Able to work in a team and on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Great customer service will be your main aim.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert advisor and guide for customers.
• Sales will be important, including click & collect, setting up displays, and making sure the store looks great.
• On the tills, deliver great customer service and ensure smooth checkout experiences.
